In India cinema is the biggest entertainment with billions of money invested every year. Nothing is more popular than cinema and the film stars in India and especially in the southern parts of the country. The Hollywood producers have started realizing the potential of the huge Indian cinema market and are very much interested in investing with the production houses here and some are trying to establish their own production houses in India.
Bollywood has already seen huge investments from Hollywood. Now its the turn of the southern film industry and primarily our Tollywood is in the focus of the Hollywood production houses.
Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers and Walt Disney are the three major houses that are actively getting engaged in the Indian cinema market. All three started as film distributors and are now continuing as co-producers to various high-budget movies. All of them have signed some film stars for their movies which indicate that they will soon plunge into producing films all be themselves. Century Fox is another major production house which along with Star TV is competing for its share in the Indian market.
With the advent of Hollywood biggies, Indian cinema might reach greater heights both in commercial stamina as well as technical excellence.
