The movie with the highest budget in the history of Indian cinema, Robot has traveled over Europe and Vellore and is currently shooting in the valleys of Kulu and Manali. Robot has a speculated budget of Rs. 165 crore which stars Rajni Kanth and Aishwarya Rai as the lead pair. The film is being directed by Shankar. This film will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and thus the unit believes that they can get back the investment.

This movie makes Aishwarya Rai, the highest paid actress in the country. She was paid a whopping amount of Rs. 6 crore for this movie. There are many other ‘costly’ embellishments in this movie which shoot up the budget. There was a romantic scene between the lead pair that was to be shot in a car and so Shankar ordered for a new Mercedes Benz which costed Rs. 1 crore, just for the sake of this single scene. Well, if that is the way you wanna shoot the film, Rs. 165 crore is a believable budget.

Deepika Padukone had been dating Ranbir Kapoor for over an year now, but this relation seems to be facing tough times now.

Deepika was always in news not just for the movies she does but the relations she maintains. In the initial stages of her career she was found moving close to the young cricketers on Indian team, Yuvraj and Dhoni. However, in the later stages the  guys moved away from her as Deepika started dating Ranbir Kapoor. Both were young and in the initial stages of their career and attracted media attention.

Now, after an year long relationship, they seem to be moving away from each other. Recently, Deepika was seen with another guy (identity not known) in a multiplex where they watched the new release ‘Ghajini’. Though Deepika did not talk anything about the ‘new guy’, she said claimed that Ranbir and herself are still together and that there is not ‘distance’ between them as the media speculates. She said that both of them are getting busy with their professional life and thus are not being seen together in public.

Salman Khan celebrated his 43rd birthday at his farmhouse on the 27th of December. The celebrations were done as a low key affair with very few guests and relatives of Salman Khan. Though his friends and guests were present at the party, Salman’s girl friend Katrina Kaif did not attend the party. Not because of any dispute, but Katrina left to London to celebrate Christmas with her parents and this was done with Salman’s permission.

Though his love was not present, there were other ladies to grace the event. In this party, Salman danced with Mallika Sherawat, South Indian actress Asin and Zarine Khan from England. The party started at mid night and continued till the wee hours in the morning. An interesting fact is that all the dishes in the party were home made by Salman’s mother!

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are the two bad boys Bollywood. Both of them had to face the court cases and imprisonments, though on different issues. Apt to their aggressive behavior, both these stars were on ‘no-talking’ terms for the past few years. Recently Salman also had a clash with Baadshah Shahrukh Khan and further deteriorated his image. However, Salman tried to prove that he is not all that bad and took an initiative to improve his relations with Sanjay Dutt.

Recently, both these actors were shooting on adjacent sets in the Film city for different films. Salman Khan was informed that Sanjay Dutt was in the adjacent set and so Salman decided to put aside his ego and went to meet Sanjay Dutt. However, at that time Sanjay was on shoot and so Salman went back without meeting him. Sanjay, after learning that Salman wanted to meet him, went to Salman’s set and shook hands with his, thus breaking the ice. It was reported by the people on the set, that these guys talked to each other for more than 45 minutes at a stretch. Probably discussing all they wanted to discuss over these years of cold war.

When it comes to loving couples in the Bollywood, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh and Gowri Khan are the names that some to our mind. There is another strong relation in Bollywood. It is the Bollywood stunt master Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Kumar. Akshay is the highest paid and the most busy actor in the Bollywood today. However, he alwaya takes out some time for his kind and to take his wife out.

When it comes to gifts, Akshay had the best for his wife. Twinkle will be celebrating her birthday on the 29th of December. Akshay who has a dance show in Hongkong on that day wanted to make the day memorable for Twinkle though he will not be present on that date. So, he bought her a Brently  car as her birth day presentation (This car costs three Crore rupees i.e. 30 million rupees).

What more would Twinkle expect for her birthday. Akki has handed over the keys to Twinkle on the day of Christmas before he left to Hongkong on the same day.

Aamir Khan has sealed the lips of the heroines in his latest flick Ghajini. I know what you are thinking, but what I meant is that Aamir did not allow these two ladies to speak to the media about this film.

Though Ghajini is a remake of the Tamil film, Aamir did make some changes to the last thirty minutes of the film and he wanted these changes to remain a secret till the film hits the theaters. Apart from the director and himself, the only two people who know the story completely are Asin and Jiya and Aamir has passed orders to both these ladies not to talk anything about the film with the media.

These ladies followed his orders and kept themselves away from the media in the fear of giving away information. Finally, now that the movie has released, Jiya has talked to the media and gave the reason as to why she avoided the journalists all these days. Asked if she felt over shadowed by Aamir, she replied that it is Aamir’s project and that she did not mind staying away from media.

She also talked about he co-actress Asin and said that though Asin’s role appears for a longer period on screen, her role has more prominence in the film.

Ghajini was released all over the country on the 25th of December.

A huge disappointment for all the fans of Aamir Khan waiting for more than an year for his latest flick Ghajini. The film was slated to be released on the eve of Christmas and everything was setup for the release. Unfortunately, the High Court of Mumbai ordered a stay on the release of the film, in response to a petition filed against the makers of Ghajini for violating copyrights.

 Ghajini was the remake of a Tamil film with the same name and also being directed by the same guy who directed the original version of the movie. However, in Bollywood, the film is produced by Gita Arts headed by Allu Arvind. Just before two days of the scheduled release, KBC has filed a case against Allu Arvind, saying that KBC has the rights to remake Ghajini and this led to a stay order on Ghajini’s release in Tamil Nadu.

Now A. Chandrasekharan also filed a similar case in Mumbai and thus the release of the film was held all over the country. In his complaint, Chandrasekharan made a statement that he was ’surprised, shocked and perplexed’ to learn the Gita Arts was remaking the film, without even purchasing the rights.

This film had started an year ago and the producers have given huge publicity. What the ‘fish’ are KBC and Chandrasekharan doing all through the year and why did they file the case a day before the release. All they want is to grab some money (in other words, beg for some money) and the best time to beg for this money is before the release!

Aishwarya Rai had been ruling the Bollywood for over a decade as the top actress. But after she turned to be Aishwarya Bachchan, she started losing her glory quickly. There was a quick decline in the movie offers she received as well as the fan following she once enjoyed. Now its time for the products for she was the brand ambassador, to move away from her.

Aishwarya had been the product Ambassador for’Nakshatra Diamonds’ for many years. However, this year, the company officials have decided to terminate the contract with Ash and replace her with Katrina. Katrina had a series of hits this year and has earned lot of recognition for her beauty. She is also much younger than Ash and obviously is a better choice for corporates than Ash.

The Nakshatra authorities did not talk anything about Aishwarya Rai!

Aamir Khan has certain principles which are never broken (usually never broken). He never accepts any film fare awards and certain other awards which are not ‘worth’, according to him. He is also very choosy when it comes to attending parties and attends only those which he believes are important and serve any purpose. On the same lines, he declined the proposal of getting waxed at Madame Tussauds in London which is considered to be a great honor by many others.

However, Aamir broke this rule now.  Aamir is known as an aggressive promoter of his films and he never left any stone unturned when promoting his films. The same is the case with his next flick ‘Ghajini’ to be released this christmas. Aamir has already turned a barber dressing the hair of his fans and now he has agreed to have his statues put up in all the multiplexes in the country, which is against his policy - that he never be waxed.

The responsibility of replicating Aamir is given to popular sculptor Nitin who has already taken the sample of Aamir and started working. So, when you go to watch Ghajini, you will have a replica of Aamir waiting to receive you at the entrance.

Kajol and Kareena are two great actresses Bollywood has seen and they have many things in common. One difference is their body structure. Kajol had been a person who believes more in acting skills than body shape and thus never bothered to get herself into shape. The audience got used to seeing her a little plump. Kareena on the other hand is very experimental with her body and always maintained an attractive physique. She is the one who introduced the concept of ’size-zero’ from Hollywood to Bollywood.

Now, both these actresses are casted in Karan Johar’s next movie ‘Khan is King’. Shahrukh Khan is male lead in this film and Kajol will be his lady. The role of Kareena is unknown. It was reported that Karan asked Kajol to lose some wieght as the script requires the leading lady of the movie to be lean. This is a tough job for Kajol, but Karan insisted in this and now Kajol is busy trying to shed some weight and get herself into shape.

Kareena on the other hand got a different assignment. She was asked to put on some weight as the role should not look like a super model. This may not be difficult to Kareena who loves to experiment with her body. She can get back to ’size-zero’ whenever she wants to.

So, in this film, we can see a slim Kajol and plump Kareena.
