Shahrukh sued
On February 22nd, the king of Bollywood, Shahrukh will appear in the court along with his wife Gauri Khan and Farah Khan. The trio was sued for infaming popular Bollywood actor Manoj Kumar.
In Shahrukh’s last movie ‘Om Shanti Om’, Shahrukh enacts the role of Manoj Kumar in which he was not allowed to enter a movie premiere show and was beaten up by the police. Manoj Kumar was offended by this depiction of his character on screen and decided to proceed legally.
After Manoj expressed his anger, Shahrukh and Farah Khan apologised unconditionally for and promised that they would remove the scene from the picture. However, Manoj Kumar was not pleased and decided to proceed to the court. He complained in the court that Shahrukh and Farah Khan have defamed him and thus demanded a monetary compensation and removal of that particular scene from the CDs’ and DVDs’.
Probably Manoj Kumar is defaming himself by his acts even after Shahrukh apologised openly.
